My daughter, who is 10, has wanted a pair of Emu boots for over a year. I bought her some in March for a christmas present. She wore them in the snow and now they are stained and look horrible. No where on the hangtag that came with the boots does it say "Not water resistant. Do not get wet". Not even on the Emu website. I think it is deceptive of Emu (by omission) not telling customers that water will damage the boots. If I buy a shirt, it provides care instructions. Do not Iron. Tumble Dry Low. No Bleach. Certainly if I had a coat who's color would run if it got wet, it would include a warning. "Do not get wet". I called Emu USA and was told my daughter was out of luck.

dnagroove I have been looking at these sandals for quite sometime. Finally bought a pair, and they are incredible! You can't wear them for a long period of time the first time or two. They will hurt. And, duh, the directions say that! So get a pair, and see what they can do!
